Celebrate Earth Month and securely shred documents and e-waste.

In recognition of Earth Month, IT Services is partnering with the Office of Sustainability, Facilities Services, and the vendor R4 Services to host a Spring Shred Fest on April 28. This event is free and open to all faculty, staff, students, and local community members.

Join us to safely and securely destroy unwanted documents and e-waste. IT Services team members will be on site to offer tips on how you can protect yourself against identity theft.

Items to bring for safe destruction:

  • Paper records and documents (e.g., old bank statements, tax returns, bills, receipts, outdated medical records).
  • Only documents that are loose can be shredded. Please be sure to remove all paper clips, staples, or binders before you arrive.
  • Personal hard drives and thumb drives
  • E-waste: Please see the list of accepted electronic items and non-accepted items.
